With over 25 years of hands-on experience, Matt Nicastro brings craftsmanship, reliability, and pride to every project he takes on. His journey began early—learning the trade alongside family before formally training at Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School, where he studied in the House Carpentry program and earned recognition through VICA shop awards.

Matt’s real-world experience started in high school, working summers with a local carpenter and later joining a father and son company through a co-op program. There, he helped build homes in his own community—laying the foundation for a career rooted in quality work and local trust. After graduation, he continued full-time before expanding his experience into high-end residential construction, contributing to multi-million-dollar homes in the Highland Meadows community in Weston.

Over the years, Matt has led job sites and completed projects throughout Central Massachusetts, including Concord, Acton, Harvard, and Groton. Based in Fitchburg, he has long been the go-to carpenter for family, friends, and neighbors—known for his attention to detail, strong work ethic, and straightforward approach.

Most recently, Matt completed a full addition on his own home entirely himself—removing an existing garage and building a new attached structure featuring a two-bay garage with a workshop above, along with a new bedroom and second-story office space. This milestone project solidified his decision to take the next step and establish his own business.

Today, Matt is the owner of Precision Home Improvement, where he continues to deliver high-quality work with a personal touch—treating every home as if it were his own.

In his personal time, Matt enjoys building projects with his wife and son—especially when it comes to Halloween decorations. Their home has become known as “the Halloween house” in their neighborhood, reflecting Matt’s creativity, attention to detail, and love for building something that brings people together.
